Children & Youth After School Classes
Undisputed Martial Arts has begun it's Muay Thai children’s program. Specialized classes will be offered 3 times a week on Monday, Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and Friday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. We will be teaching and physically conditioning children and youth from the ages of 10 to 15 years old, with focus on the fundamentals of Muay Thai Kickboxing.
As the Children learn the art of Muay Thai they will also gain:
· An increase in self confidence & discipline
· Better focus and concentration skills
· Learn the importance of courtesy and respect
· Self-control and cooperation
· How to set and achieve goals
· Commitment and not giving up when faced with challenges
· Great exercise
New Bakbakan International Canada Appointment
Guro Ramon Villardo, Regional Director/Chief Instructor Bakbakan Kali Ilustrisimo, Canada, has appointed Archie Luz as Assistant Director of Bakbakan International, Canada effective September 1, 2011. Archie has been an ardent supporter of the Filipino Martial Arts and practitioner of Bakbakan Kali Ilustrisimo under the guidance of Guro Ramon.

On Saturday, August 27th our very own Women's National Novice Champion, Nicole Powankumar, took part in the CASK sanctioned Importfest K1/Kickboxing Tournament. She was part of three main event bouts, as she debuted as an Open class athlete and took on the very tough, talented, and highly experienced Theodora Pistiolis, who is the current Women's National Open Champion. Nicole emerged victorious and proved that her diligence in hard training and concentration on developing technical skills can help any athlete, regardless of their lack of experience in any given sport. Keep an eye out for Nicole, as she looks to continue her winning ways.

New Boxing Classes!
Due to popular demand Boxing classes will now replace the noon Muay Thai classes on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons. Also the Sunday afternoon Boxing class will be officially extended by 30 minutes. Kettlebell class that afternoon will be pushed back to 4:00pm. Please make sure you have the most updated schedule which can be downloaded here.

2011 CASK National Championships
Once again Team Undisputed came into the National Championships tournament with a strong group of athletes. Each fighter gave it everything they had and represented their gym well. Pride, honour and heart were all on display throughout a hectic, action-filled weekend in which Team Undisputed demonstrated excellent technical skill along with superior physical conditioning.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Seminar
Professor Richard "Monkey" Nancoo will be instructing an MMA Seminar on Saturday, February 5th , from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Undisputed Martial Arts. The seminar will focus on fighting techniques specific towards Mixed Martial Arts. The cost for this seminar is $20 for Undisputed members and $30 for non-members.
Professor Rich is a BJJ Black Belt under the world renowned Franco-Behring establishment and is a former Lightweight professional Mixed Martial Arts Champion with the UCC/TKO organization. More information regarding his background can be viewed here. Whether your fighting background is from a stand-up striker's perspective or on the ground as a submission specialist or as a wrestler , this seminar will bring it all together to improve your game in the sport of MMA.
2010 CASK Provincials Results
Team Undisputed came, saw and acquired some hardware at this year's CASK Provincial Championships. This year we sent 5 athletes and everyone came back with a medal!

BAKBAKAN INT'L CANADA UPDATES
Guro Ramon Villardo awarded and officially registered Archie Luz and Kristofer Romero the rank of TAGAPAGSANAY (Qualified Trainer) in Bakbakan Kali-Ilustrisimo. They are the first two Canadians to receive this prestigious responsibility amongst the Brotherhood of Bakbakan International.
Undisputed Martial Arts is the official home and Headquarters of Bakbakan International Canada. Under the leadership of the Canadian Regional Director, Guro Ramon Villardo, we will be offering a structured curriculum focused at delivering quality instruction and intensive training in the Warrior Arts of the Philippines. Bakbakan International is a highly respected body of Filipino Martial Artists with representation Worldwide; in the Philippines, the United States, and Australia. Team Undisputed was represented on Saturday, October 30th by Candice Mullings in her Muay Thai debut in Cambridge, ON, at the Question Of Honour event held by MAS Thaiboxing. She did not disappoint as she won her first fight via 3rd round TKO! Well done Candice. Next stop will be the Ontario Provincial Championship where she'll be looking to continue in her winning ways.
All Hail "King" Omar Kerr
Team Undisputed's very own "King" Omar Kerr made his professional MMA debut a successful one at the Fighting Spirit "Karma" event in Oneida, Ontario. His outstanding performance even garnered "Knockout of Night" honours. Watch out for more exciting performances from this talented young athlete.
